Bečov – treasure keeper
The castle and the chateau Bečov is a unique collection of historic buildings, most notably the Gothic castle, Renaissance palace and Baroque chateau. There is permanently exhibited a unique relic case - the reliquary of St. Maurus, who is with the crown jewels one of the goldsmith's most valuable monument in the Czech Republic.

The medieval castle is currently under reconstruction is not open to the public.
Since 2013, Bečov State Castle and Chateau has been a university historical monument of the Faculty of Education of the Charles University.
