There is a car park right outside. The railway station is about 700 metres away and the bus stop is about 150 metres from the Chateau, on city square itself.

The chateau has barrier-free toilets accessible by the big gate of the Upper Chateau.

Entry with animals is prohibited.

Cycle route no. 251 passes through Benešov nad Ploučnicí. Bicycle stands are available in the courtyard of the Upper Chateau.

In the box office (Upper Chateau) there is a children's corner with coloring books, and stationery.

A restaurant is 200 m near the Chateau.
